HOW TO CLAIM CJRS – LATEST GUIDANCE 10 APRIL 2020
HMRC have released details of how to make a claim under the CJRS. The portal should be available from 20 April and the first payments are expected to be made to employers by 30 April.

The guidance is being updated regularly, therefore, we would recommend checking https://www.gov.uk/guidance/claim-for-wage-costs-through-the-coronavirus-job-retention-scheme prior to making a claim to ensure that you have all of the information required.
To be eligible for the grant employers must confirm in writing to their employee that they have been furloughed. A record of this communication must be kept for five years.
